1. PCR paper layout. Chris S. will present outline, fig ideas, holes. Discuss which journal to focus it towards.
- Chris started the layout and many decisions still need to be made about how many machines to include in building standard curves, and which deployments. Discussion ensued.
- She will have Figure ideas next Tuesday.
2. M0 leapfrog deployment. Julie, discuss your plan; what are Chris P's, responsibilities in this?
- We need to use only 1 probe set from beginning to end of deployment. MaryAnn from U. Ga, wanted liquid back but that ain't happening. We are still trying to decide which P/P set to use.
- Moe goes out April 15 on Zephyr
- 30 days later, Neo will be flipped for Moe.
3. Do we need new targets for Nov MARS deployment of D-ESP. If yes, must develop libraries?
4. Progress on '08/'09 paper. (John returns 2-12)
5. ASLO practice talks. I've reserved Pacific Forum Friday, Feb 19 10am-12.
- Everyone is happy and excited to get their talks done the week before and practice them.

7. New IPC results?
- We will order 10K rxns from Sandy. (or Melancon if he can deal with large number and has approval to be a reagent reseller from ABI)
8. Pete & Vik groups schedule. And are they taking instruments back??
- They arrive Monday (MBARI Holiday) but have Chris P phone number.
- Vik bringing 5 p/p sets and will use MFB #9
- Pete's group will bring 1 Cyber, 1TAQ assay, will use MFB #2
- Reasonable target to ship them their MFB's is March, 2010 (Vik first, then Pete's group)
9. MOE script upgrade after Julies MOCK deployment? Should new IPC be included on the MOCK??
- Cold testing will begin this week with Moe. Engineering is standing by to help Julie can the instrument.
- Julie will upgrade scripts after the cold test, but before the deployment.
- I don't remember what we decided about including new IPC into the mock deployment
10. DA testing
- We will begin Bruce DA testing next so Roman can watch it. He's working with Bruce K. now and training is going slowly because there is so much to learn. We will be sending Roman out to WHOI to help with acceptance testing.
11. S. California deployment
- Chris S. working on boat issues, looking like we may use Shanna Rae, but haven't heard from Christmann. S. Cal will put two moorings in San Pedro Bay and run Hab/DA/WCR.
- We need to simply set a date and go there, as the guys down south don't know what to tell us on dates.
Various
- We need to begin a list of how to test extraction and archiving protocols that would work the best. This will get more complicated as other groups start adopting our work.
